How do you split holiday costs fairly with friends?
Add up everything paid for the whole group (accommodation, transport, transfers) and divide by the number of people. Handle personal spending (drinks, meals out) separately as you go. The awkward part isn't the maths, it's the collecting: agree the per-person figure and payment dates in writing before anyone books.
Should one person pay and everyone settle up later?
